Daffodils

A cheerful spring classic, daffodils are a firm favourite for their bright, reliable blooms. They’re wonderfully versatile and look fantastic planted in borders, pots and containers, or naturalised through lawns and grassy areas.

We have a selection of beautiful varieties to choose from, including ‘Cheerfulness White’ an elegant and unusual daffodil featuring creamy white petals surrounding a soft apricot-pink cup. As the flower matures, the cup gradually fades to a delicate blush, creating a beautiful, subtle change in colour. A lovely choice for spring borders and bouquets.

‘Jetfire’ is another striking variety with bright yellow petals and a vibrant orange-red trumpet. Its lively colouring makes it a fantastic choice for adding a bold splash of spring colour.

‘Tahiti’ is a beautiful double-flowered daffodil, producing full, ruffled blooms in cheerful yellow and orange tones. Perfect for creating an eye-catching spring display.

Tulips

Bring bold colour and elegance to your spring garden with our wide range of tulips, from timeless favourites to distinctive double and dark-flowered varieties, there’s something to suit every style.

Our selection includes the Bulb of the Year, ‘Red Impression’, alongside other popular varieties such as ‘Queen of Night’ a deep, dramatic tulip that is almost black in colour, perfect for sophisticated displays.

‘Bojangles’, a colourful and eye-catching variety that makes a wonderful addition to spring borders, and ‘Negrita Double’ a beautifully full, peony-like bloom with rich colouring for a spectacular display.

With tulips available in a rainbow of colours, they are ideal for creating striking displays in beds, borders, pots and containers. Why not mix different colours and varieties to create your own spring showstopper?

Crocus

One of the earliest flowers to appear in spring, crocus provide a welcome splash of colour when little else is flowering. Their delicate flowers are perfect for rockeries, borders, containers and naturalising in lawns.

Our selection includes ‘Prins Claus’ a charming, beautifully marked variety that combines white flowers with distinctive purple feathering. ‘Dorothy’ is a lovely crocus variety that brings bright colour and early-season interest to the garden.

Hyacinths

Known for their wonderfully bold fragrance and dense clusters of flowers, hyacinths are a spring favourite. They’re ideal for planting in pots and containers, adding to borders, or even growing indoors for an early burst of colour and scent.

Choose from our mixed-colour packs for a vibrant combination of spring shades, or select individual varieties such as ‘City of Haarlem’ a soft-yellow hyacinth with densely packed, highly fragrant blooms. A wonderful choice for adding warmth and brightness to your spring displays.

Alliums

Add height, structure and interest to your garden with alliums, their distinctive globe-shaped flower heads create a real focal point in borders and look particularly impressive planted in groups. Alliums are also a fantastic choice for wildlife-friendly gardens, with their nectar-rich flowers proving popular with bees and other pollinators.

‘Purple Sensation’ is a popular and reliable variety producing large, rounded heads of rich violet-purple flowers on tall, sturdy stems, perfect for adding height and drama to spring and early-summer borders.

When and How to Plant

Spring-flowering bulbs are planted in autumn, ideally between September and November, before the first hard frost. They need the cool temperatures of winter to develop and bloom properly in spring.

Top planting tips:

  • Choose a well-drained spot in full or partial sun.
  • Plant bulbs at a depth about 2–3 times their height.
  • Group in clusters for a more natural, fuller look.
  • Water well after planting to help them settle in.

Don’t forget many bulbs are also great for containers, making them perfect for patios, balconies, or small space gardening.

Our team is on hand to help you choose the best bulbs for your garden style and growing conditions, from classic daffodil drifts or a modern tulip border, we’ve got the inspiration—and the bulbs—to get you started!
