Cacti

We have a wide array of cacti, perfect for adding character and charm to any home. Cacti are ideal for beginner houseplant owners because they are incredibly low maintenance, thriving on minimal water, plenty of sunlight, and little attention. Their hardy nature means they can withstand a bit of neglect while still bringing beauty and texture to your space.

Common types include the classic Golden Barrel Cactus (Kroenleinia grusonii), the Bunny Ear Cactus (Opuntia microdasys) with its playful pads, the Christmas Cactus ( Schlumbergera) that blooms with vibrant flowers, and the Moon Cactus (Gymnocalycium mihanovichii), known for its striking, colourful top. With so many unique shapes and varieties, cacti make it easy to start your plant collection with confidence and style.

Succulents

Our succulents come in a unique range of shapes, colours, and textures that make them a wonderful addition to any home. Succulents are fantastic houseplants because they’re low-maintenance, drought-tolerant, and can thrive in bright indoor light with minimal care.

Their ability to store water in their thick leaves makes them perfect for busy plant lovers or those new to gardening. Some popular varieties include Echeveria, known for its beautiful rosette shape; Aloe Vera, famous for its soothing gel, Jade Plant, which symbolises good luck and prosperity and Haworthia, a compact, spiky succulent ideal for small spaces. Whether you’re decorating a windowsill or brightening up your office, succulents add a touch of natural beauty and calm to any space.

Flowering Plants

Flowering houseplants bring colour and life indoors, and with the right care, they can bloom beautifully year-round. Common flowering varieties include African violets, peace lilies, anthuriums, and orchids.

Most of these plants thrive in bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight however can scorch their leaves. Most indoor varieties prefer moderate humidity and consistent watering, though it’s important to let the top inch of soil dry out before watering again to avoid root rot.

Each species has its own preferences, for example, orchids like well-draining bark mix and high humidity, while African violets enjoy slightly warm temperatures and gentle watering at the soil level.

Regularly removing spent flowers encourages new blooms, and using a fertiliser every few weeks during the growing season supports healthy growth. With proper attention to light, water, and feeding, flowering houseplants can reward you with vibrant, long-lasting blossoms.
