A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate the incredible milestone of 25 years of Root One Garden Centre. It has been a truly fantastic few weeks filled with memorable events, wonderful community spirit, and plenty of excitement. From our charity tombola over the Bank Holiday weekend to the eagerly anticipated grand prize draw, it has been a celebration to remember.
On 9th June, we drew the winning tickets for our anniversary prize draw, with 37 lucky winners sharing an amazing £5,000 worth of vouchers. It has been an absolute pleasure meeting our winners and presenting their prizes, and we hope they enjoy treating themselves to something special. Congratulations once again to all of our winners!
For those who didn’t win this time, please know that your support has made a real difference. We are delighted and incredibly proud to announce that, thanks to the generosity of our customers and community, we have raised more than £4,400 for Wild About Wallingford. This is a remarkable achievement and one that everyone involved should be proud of.
We would also like to thank everyone who purchased a ticket for our charity tombola over the Bank Holiday weekend and took the chance to win some fantastic prizes. Many of these prizes were generously donated by our suppliers, and winners took home an array of wonderful gardening goodies, including bird baths, gardening tools, raised beds, and a beautiful selection of plants. Every ticket sold helped contribute to our fundraising efforts, with all proceeds going directly to Wild About Wallingford.
Reaching 25 years in business is a milestone that means so much to us. It is a testament to the loyalty of our customers, the dedication of our staff, the support of our suppliers, and the strength of the wider community that has supported us throughout the years. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has been part of our journey so far.
